Hello, i'm one of those black ducks who don't have paypal support in their country and ii find troubled making any kind of deals here in DP either selling or buying and although i applied for Moneybookers account and verified my home address, i can't get anyone to receive or send payment through Moneybookers and they say they use paypal only is DP only for paypal users ? if you don't have paypal, how do you make trades here ? i don't think i'm the only one facing this problem do you think i can have chance in making people accept Moneybookers from me after i get some credibility after making more posts ?
You can use Moneybookers and E-gold. But I'm afraid that you will have to wait just like me for paypal to support your country... I hope that google checkout will be faster then paypal p.l.u.r.
people are lazy to register for Moneybookers for no reason although it's free to join and free to upload/withdraw funds by SWIFT and for 1.9% by credit card/checks can we do some magic that makes people accept other payment methods other than the damn paypal
What? Force people to use something other than paypal? You are pissing in the wind. Simple really, don't do business with people who only take paypal. But do keep in mind, you do not need to join paypal or have a paypal account to pay someone with a credit card.
tell this to them not me i've Moneybookers but no one is accepting it they are lazy to get a free account there i'm not forcing them but why not approving alternatives for non-paypal DP members ?
I am one of the lazy guys. One thing is I am not sure how big they are and don't like to give my credit card info to the small guys. If they are big, why don't I see an ad. Ask them to advertise more in US, if we keep seeing them then we go and register. Thanks

Once a trend is established with these kind of things, it's hard to convince people to use a different service. No matter how inconvenient it may be for you. Anyway, good luck finding a solution.
it's not just me - it's all people around DP who don't have paypal in their countries the list is long i think i even asked for trading paypal money with Moneybookers money for 15% commission but in vain
Yeah I am one of those people who can't use paypal. I have had a few sales on DP. The key thing is to keep at it. Usually you have to offer your product or service at half-price or less if you want to make sales. Maybe if we moneybookers users banded together we might get some sales? The other alternative maybe to hire somebody to change paypal to mb for you on a regular basis. Given that paypal only fully supports some 50 odd countries out of 200 on the globe, there are a lot of people that can't use paypal.
actually i'm thinking of making a group of non-paypal users to discuss the whole thing with some paypal users to get to some agreement for alternative if you offer your goods/services for low cost people will think you are cheating them also i offered people up to 15% commission to trade paypal with Moneybookers money but no response till now i heard about virtual credit cards to activate paypal account but dunno how to withdraw money then and where to get those cards
Let’s make a MoneyBookers Club here PayPal is just messing with life of Non-PayPal users. You will always find a lot of people here who can’t do anything (or most of the things) here on DP for the reason above. You will find few threads of mine as well and i got the same reply as you. Today I tried to add a VCC to my MB account but the deposit failed!. It is very hard to verify MB with VCC unlike paypal which you can easily verify with virtual credit cards. I do agree with you guys there should be one Money bookers or Egold club, where people can transact with these two payment processors. I know egold is a bit risky but they are doing a great job these days and taken some strict actions against some frauds/scams. Anyways Lets talk about money bookers. I would also prefer to use MB because I can't use that damn paypal thing in my country. I still don't understand that what are the security measures / guesses paypal is using to allow countries to list on it. There are some countries on paypal's list that are in no way safe and are involved in some illegal activities (there are many shapes). So go guys~ I am in with you (though I am yet to do the address verification and bank verification with MB, but I will do it Really soon). Regards
@Tasadduq If you are in Pakistan, you can easily verify your address by using "Address Verification" method.. It will take 5/6 days to get the Pin Code but once it is done, you are free from any other problem
:lol: To be honest I created my Money bookers account today and found it quite good and feasible for me. I will be doing address verification (doing it now) and bank verification (as soon as I get back from home). Hope to see a big MB group here at DP. Yo I can't wait to kick damn paypal. I really hate this thing but I have to use this ALso we will have to see what google will come up with (google checkout). Since it is in beta mode right now. The moneybookers club should grow, I think we need a proper thread and a proper signature for everyone who is using moneybookers which will expand the use of moneybookers in DP!
