Hello, We own a video streaming site that has tons of video content on it and we are trying to find a good advertiser that pays decent for PreRoll, PostRoll and Midroll videos and looking to see who is the best in the market for it?
We are a Google MCM partner and provide a Header Bidding platform with major demands in the market. Pubpower offer the best ad formats including video ads. Our flexible video management feature allows for easy uploading and management of video players, enabling seamless delivery video ads tailored to your audience. With many other optimization solutions, PP will provide you with effective strategies to maximize revenue
For video monetization specifically (pre/mid/post-roll), worth testing a few categories rather than picking one "best" partner: Google Ad Manager (with AdSense for Video) tends to have the most reliable fill and CPMs for general content, especially if you can get into their video network. Connatix and Vidoomy are also worth checking if you've got real volume — they specialize specifically in video and tend to have better video-specific demand than general display networks repurposing video ad slots. For mid-tier sites without massive scale, smaller video-specific platforms can work, though approval bars and minimum traffic requirements vary a lot between providers. One thing that matters more than which network you pick: ad load balance. Overloading with too many preroll/midroll breaks tanks completion rates and viewer retention, which then hurts your CPMs over time even with a good network. Worth testing ad frequency before assuming the network itself is underperforming
I also run a streaming website with a large number of videos, and the ad network that's giving me the best results right now is HillTopAds. Their Video Vast format is perfect for this type of site, automatically integrating ads into the videos. To increase revenue, I also add their pop-under ads, so when users click play, the pop-under ad appears and the video's own Video Vast ad starts playing. It's a very effective combination.
Hey, if you already have a decent amount of video content and consistent traffic, I’d focus less on finding a single “best” advertiser and more on testing a few video demand partners side by side. The results can vary a lot depending on your audience (geo, device, niche, session length, etc.). For pre-roll, mid-roll and post-roll, I’d probably start with Google Ad Manager if you can get access to the right video demand. It usually has the strongest overall demand, but approval and setup can be a bit more complicated. After that, I’d test some video-focused partners like Connatix, Vidoomy, SpotX/FreeWheel-type solutions, or a good header bidding partner that actually has strong video demand. One thing I noticed with video sites is that CPM is not the only metric to watch. Some networks show high rates on paper but hurt user experience with aggressive ads, low completion rates, or too many interruptions. A slightly lower CPM with better retention and more returning users can end up making more money long term. Also depends a lot on your traffic. If most of your visitors are US/UK/CA/AU, you’ll have many more options and better video CPMs. If it’s mainly Tier 2/3 traffic, you usually need to test more networks to find something that fills well. How much traffic does your site get monthly and what are your main geos? That would probably determine which partners are actually worth approaching.
