I've only been blogging for a month, have Amazon and Barnes&Noble. Any other affiliates that'll take me at this stage? Been rejected by Dell and Gateway.

I'm in the same boat. It seems like most places want high PR, Alexa rankings, or proof that you can deliver X-amount of leads or clicks.

I know that CJ.com is pretty quick to approve new memberships. Have you tried opening an account with them?

I ran into trouble at CJ.com. I filled out their application 4 times in 3 different browsers, and each time I came to the end, they wanted me to fill in the letters in the "box below." Quite common, a way to weed out other computers. The only problem was, and this is in Flock, Firefox and Maxthon (which uses the IE engine) mind you, there was no box to be found, with letters or anything else.

Don't know what to do about that, but thanks for the tip anyway. Maybe I'll try again later.

PartnerWeekly will take new sites as long as the site does indeed exist. They'll also work with emailers and list managers.

With most companies, if you explain in your application how you plan to market their products and how much volume they can expect from you, they'll let you join.

I'd recommend going with some of the smaller affiliate networks. They work with you closely, over the phone, and help you get offers to match your traffic and demographics. For established relationships, that one on one contact will also allow you to learn about bonuses, negotiate higher payouts, get exclusive creative, etc.
