    Hi,

28 clicks recorded from a single IP. All going to the same AdSense Ad.
Email has been sent to google Adsense team reporting this incident. What else can be done?

    regards
    Casey

Why do not you configure the AdLogger to stop showing ads after 3 or whatever clicks?

I always configure adlogger to allow max of 3 clicks / 30 minutes.

Yeah, set a limit of clicks for a timeframe, you can set this in Adlogger. I have max. 3 clicks/hour. Works fine.

    Adlogger

No logs have been sent to Google AdSense team at the moment. Only the tracking information was mentioned in the email.

IP was banned using .htaccess. It is a static site.

To be honest with you, no, I dont think they would. For this case, It is unusual to have so many clicks on the same ad from same IP in a single day.

Long holiday is coming and a delay in responding is expected. :)

Dont get too worried about it.. Keep in mind that Adlogger is not always accurate and OVER-counts clicks. It will usually count mouse-over's as clicks. But you did the right thing by sending Google the email and banning the IP..

    I think my record is 28 ..

The possibility of inacurate data recorded by adlogger was mentioned in the email to AdSense team. The email is an intiative to let AdSense team know about the incident so that they will look into the matter as soon as they can. In that way, advertiser would not be charged unfairly because of this incident. By taking this initiative, the interest of Advertiser, Publisher and Google are protected. As an AdSense publisher, that's part of the job also.

Adlogger dont violate AdSense TOS because it does not play with adsense code. you just have to place the adsense code inside its tags thats all.
