I think it depends on the type of product.
For education products emails are a great way to keep in touch with the user and make him extend the subscription.
Also for online shops emails make sense.
Generally email marketing works when you have a strong brand and your users are interested in you.

Email marketing is not dead or dying, in fact, it is still considered a valuable and effective marketing strategy.

Email marketing has been around for decades and has proven to be an effective way to reach customers and drive sales. The rise of social media and other digital marketing channels has not diminished the power of email marketing. In fact, studies have shown that email marketing has a high return on investment (ROI) and continues to be one of the most effective ways to reach and engage customers.

One of the reasons for its effectiveness is that it allows businesses to reach a large number of people at once, with a high level of personalization. Additionally, with the rise of automation, businesses can send targeted and personalized email campaigns to specific segments of their audience.

It's important to note that the key to successful email marketing is to provide valuable and relevant content to the right audience at the right time, and that means having a good list of subscribers and segmenting it properly.

Why I not say into email marketing partly " due to fake emails " A LOT are just trying to get " some free stuffs " and opt in " fake email " Mean your leads been collected is Fake , useless and you will be wasting time sending email to your leads. So one day I was intro this system, I say " Ok " I just try for few months see how , and it do works. The leads I do check is verify real human ones. Yes I 'm promoting this MLGS , Just want to share.
Side note this is not a system what you will earn quick money. Is about building up the leads.

Email marketing is not going to be dead in the foreseeable future, it's probably even more effective than before, you just need to make sure your emails will automatically adjust their layouts to different mobile devices as well as for normal computers.

Email marketing is not dead or dying. In fact, it remains one of the most effective marketing channels for businesses. Email marketing has a high return on investment (ROI) and allows businesses to reach their audience directly in their inbox. There are several reasons why email marketing is still an effective marketing channel:

    • Email is a personal and direct way to communicate with customers
    • It can be highly targeted, with segmentation and personalization options
    • It can be automated, making it a cost-effective and efficient marketing channel
    • It can drive conversions, as people are more likely to purchase after receiving an email
    • Email marketing is measurable, providing data on open rates, click-through rates and conversions.
However, it is important to note that the way email marketing is done has evolved in recent years. Consumers are becoming increasingly wary of unwanted emails and stringent laws such as GDPR and CASL have forced companies to be more responsible about how they handle personal data. So, It's important for businesses to use best practices for email marketing and constantly evaluate and optimize their email campaigns to ensure they are effective.

So fanny :) Topic-starter created a controversial name for the topic, and a lot of people came to say, that he isn't right.
But, in general, all member's right - email marketing is alive, but it works only in cases when you understand your customers, and you know how to give them something valuable.

Email marketing can be effective, but no outreach method works on it's own. Plus, there's a lot of strategizing and research to be done before you can commit. Figuring out how to compose a compelling email is just as important as setting the optimal pace as to not overload your target demographics' inboxes. And all of that under the assumption that they won't tag your address as spam in the first 5 seconds...

Yes, I think its still effective. We've got a database of over 9000 members, and we send out weekly promotions & information via email. The emails you send out need to be interesting and captivating.

Exactly! The key point is the value that customer gets, irrespectively of communication chanel. Whatever it is an e-mail or a post in Instagram/FB or telcon or an article, if it brings something useful to client, it will work. If no value - it will not.

    Thanks for the AI content.

While I don't think email marketing is dying, I do think many businesses have the bad habit of spamming their database. Even daily emails can become annoying. However, if you have a good emailing schedule, a motivated database and great email content, there's no reason why your email marketing can't generate leads. With so many brands automating their emails, consumers can get a hefty daily dose of promotional material in their inbox. Be sure to offer something valuable each time, even if it means scheduling your emails more sporadically.

I think most people need to understand that marketing is a combined effort that consists of multiple strategies, email marketing being one of them. The choice of what to use and what not to use depends on the type of company and the results they want to see.

Email marketing is still the number one digital marketing vector (Statista). When used effectively, email marketing can open unlimited resources to the owner. When creating your drip emails make sure that you are sending exactly what the users signed up for. Otherwise, this is also SPAM.
Email marketing outperforms social media, and has the best ROI, only outdone by SEO.
You should build a list today, there is money in it.

I'm on the fence about possibility to compare e-mail marketing and SEO. They are different marketing tools for different target audiences and funnel levels. E-mail marketing can't work with unknow clients at "awareness" (ie COLD) level of funnel so good as SEO could. Meantime, emails might outbeat the SEO at "action" (HOT) funnel level or, moreover in retention outperforming. Again, every business/industry/region has its own specific and I'd not be so certainly comparing ROIs of different tools.
If you want, a spoon and folk are used with different dishes ;) It's hardly right to say that one of them is the best for dinner.

I worked in an IT company and email marketing was one of the main types of lead generation, the main thing is not to fall under spam filters. To do this, you need to collect a relevant database of contacts, validate the database and start sending out a small number of emails. This is a whole science, but if you do everything right, then email marketing are a great channel for leads.
