Amen to that. None of the other browsers can handle having 40+ tabs open which I usually have (working on projects, cross referencing etc) and I can still play music and even burn a CD while browsing. Opera just brought out version 9.10 - hard to believe but it is definately faster than 9.02

I personally like the new look and functioning of IE7, but I've had endless problems with favorites not being clickable, tabs not opening properly, homepage hijacking to msn.com...the list goes on and on. I'm a new Firefox user, and I'm sorry I didn't make the switch years ago.

Anyone tell me the relationship, if any, between IE7 and MSN browser? I lost all MSN favorites, about the same time I downloaded IE7 - drag. MSN has been unresponsive, so if any have any thoughts, would be appreciated.

I don't use MSN, but as soon as I installed IE7 it hijacked my homepage to some long URL that then forwarded to msn.com.

I believe that would be the default homepage setting that redirects to your local MSN site - something IE has had for a while. Is it really that hard to change your homepage back to what it was before?

It's not hard, it's impossible. It's been hijacked. I searched high and low for the software causing it, but I found nothing, my system is pretty clean. It didn't happen with IE6, ever.

I have always been a Phoenix / Firebird fan and I can now confidently say that I am an avid Firefox supporter. I've been using the browser for around 3 years and it never fails to impress me. It has offered me my most pleasant and enjoyable browsing experience to date. If you're still stuck using the likes of IE, you really are missing out.
