    Unsplash, Pixabay, Stocksnap, Kaboompics are one of my favorites. There is also some free stuff if you need videos: Videvo and Pexels. Video is an excellent free source!

    but with pinterest you can't rely on having the rights to the pictures.

    Free and Stolen are not the same thing.
