Hello, a few days ago my relatively new Youtube channel was suspended for a few moments because accidentally I logged in from a different browser then usual. After I did the two factor verification in the channel's gmail account the Youtube channel came back and since then it's running well. My question is: Will this short suspension effect my Youtube channel's future in any way? Most importantly, my videos recommendation by Youtube or its algrithm? Thank you for the answers in advance.
No it should not. Only a letter code rating that would signify obscene content etc. would affect you.
No way to afect your acount no wory ,its just a security thing by youtube and it will not afect your videos
Your channel will not get affected for sure, but here are few words of caution for you. - 1) Always try to access your Youtube channel from the similar IP. Youtube keeps track of it. In case of the hijacked channel where hijacker enables the 2-Step authentication and changes security questions too, Youtube checks this IP history to determine the location of the user. This helps it return the channel to the original user. 2) Never use VPN to access your channel. Try to use your regular internet connection whenever possible. 3) As it looks like you have already done it, but always enable 2-Step verification for the gmail id you are using for accessing your Youtube channel.
Thank you for your detailed answer and security advises! Yes, our Youtube channel is very important to us, so I will be very cautious with everything in this matter.
What an absolute load of horse manure. Bad advice. I log into my channel from all over the world when traveling and have been doing that for years. Zillions of people use VPN's to log into youtube and have been doing so for years with no problems.
No it won't affect your Youtube channel. Next time just be conscious of how you access your Youtube account so that it doesn't happen again in the future.
