    I want to get a new design and look for www.softgroups.com , can anybody sugest me how my website should look?! i really want to do it as a portal for webmasters. Because of that I was thinking about an easy design as:
    www.statcounter.com got ... any others sugestions?!

    current design is not bad at all but i personally avoid the curvey design you are having there; i think a simple design like you mentioned or a similar thing like www.siteuptime.com would be good;

    also your site looks fine in 800x600 but if i change my resolution to 1024x768 then whole of your site is aligned on left side; try to keep it in middle

    Fix things so they center in larger screen sizes..
    Another suggestion, (though this may be only because it is 1:40AM) I would suggest some slightly darker colords, things seem a tad too bright.

    i think that will work; get a nice logoabove your navigation bar and if you keep this navigation to left side you can try to use a little navigation bar of not more than 3 links aligned right side upside your logo!

    The new design is good with different resolutions but needs some attracting colors

    ad more colors and icons - you have a great site keep it up
