Server Down Notification scripts??

Is there any services or script available that when my sites goes down i should get an email or Sms.
Any help regarding this is highly appreciated

I think there is some software as well you can use i think i have one i will look for it and back to you. I got them in one of this packages you buy.

A script is difficult since it has to be on another server if you server go down then its not much use having a script there is it

 

I think yellowberry these type of sites are best for him since if he install script on his site and his server goes down.Script will go down aswell

4) notification via e-mail and twitter

 

Another great service is pagestatus.info. They also monitor your site performance overtime. Useful to know as performance can not only make customer unhappy but it also can effect pagerank

 

host-tracker.com is a pretty good one, and has free plan as well as paid ones, depending on your needs.

It's a really good service and does not affect your server performance while checking the status.
