Hey all, I don't understand why Google doesn't use online money transfer systems like PayPal to pay out AdSense earnings. It's not that they have their own program for that kind of things, and it's very safe. Does anyone know why?
because they want to pay you slower, which also increases the chances of them not paying you due to violation of TOS, and they also get interest on the money. It's that simple. why do you think the money earned from a click today wouldn't end up being in your bank account at least a 1.5 months later.
Yep. That's it. And it definitely isn't because of Google Checkout, otherwise they would offer that (I'm surprised they don't actually, since they should earn interest on money in your Checkout account). It's the same thing with PayPal's 3-4 business day policy on transferring money to/from bank accounts.
Dell computer company is the same. They take your money instantly, they dont pay suppliers for 30 days, and you have to wait so many days for your computer. That 30 days they dont have to pay for your computer, is 30 days they can earn intrest on that money. IBM, HP, Sony when they make computers to compet with dell, they are trying to compete with a computer company, but DELL is a bank, not a computer company. Pierce
humm.. good idea.. Paypal and E-gold can be good option also..but their TOS and policies help them to delay their payments, may be they wan some gab between payments for mainitnng their balance.. like debi = credit.. more adds come for advertisment and more money to pay more publishers.. they must have some chane behind the screen.. who know's?.GOD knows much beter
Like banks, Google uses what bankers call float time. That is the period between when the money is received and when the money is paid out. A huge amount of interest $ is made by businesses when they practice this technique.
Why should google use a third party payment system when they can pay you directly via check or direct deposit? Using paypal wouldn't speed up payment, either. They'd still wait to process payments. Even when people get paid for real time jobs their checks are usually for work done 2-4 weeks prior to the payment date.
That's what I have in mind. How much processing fee do you think paypal would earn if Google uses paypal? That's probably one of the reasons why they have Checkout - potential future cash cow for Google.
yeah. i think that's the reason why. because if that i'm currently looking for an alternative to paypal that serves malaysians
They don't use paypal because they don't want third parties between themselves and their customers. For those countries where paypal is supported but google doesn't deposit money in their bank accounts - it would be nicer if google offered the option of paying through for instance paypal. Amazon doesn't pay through paypal either. Same reason, I guess.
Yes. But i think they will use their own service ones it is mature enough. Of course if they think that service need this kind of advertisement..
I agree...BTW...they never will use paypal because its a competitor from them...thats why they create Google checkout...
