I don't write when I am not in the mood for it because I know that my writing will be a piece of crap. It is important to catch the inspiration. As for me, I always have it in the night.
It's pretty inconvenient to write when you are in a bad mood, because you don't have any positive thoughts and it's kinda difficult to concentrate. There are several reasons of bad mood, the main are you are pissed off because of something and you have lack of some vital hormones like dopamine which are liable for your good mood. Moreover, there are plenty of ways how to get rid of bad mood, however when you need to stay at work and write something you just don't have a time for searching for some methods which can help you to handle bad mood. Frankly speaking, it's unbearable to write in a bad mood.
If there is no inspiration, I make a plan of what it's should be paragraph by paragraph. Then I mix and all that remains is to add words and sentences.
This could work if you have a creative mind. @DulceanaQQ Being in a "bad mood" never prevented me from writing. It was more a matter of not having the inspiration to write. (not in the mood)
I have a techie friend who made an affordable programmable posture device for teens. He needed to write a presentation for potential investors, but he wrote very poorly. I told him how to think in blocks and it worked. I don't mean it will work for everyone. But it's worth a try.
You have three Likes, but two of them are from the same person. When you get one more established member to give you a Like, you will then see the Like button underneath every post. The requirement is three Likes from three established members makes you an established member who can Like others' posts. Keep making quality posts and it should happen quickly.
There are a few things that you can do to get yourself in the mood to write when you're not feeling it. First, try changing your environment. If you're stuck at home, go for a walk or sit in a park. If you're at work, take a break and go for a walk. Getting out of your surroundings can help jumpstart the creative process. Second, try listening to music that inspires you. There are tons of playlists on Spotify and other streaming services that can get you in the mood to write. Try setting some simple goals for yourself. Instead of trying to write an entire novel, try writing 500 words or drafting three scenes. By breaking down the task into smaller goals, it can be much easier to get started. AI writing assistants can also be a great help when you're not feeling it. By using such tools, you can get the help you need to produce quality work, even when you're not in the mood.
Hm... nice question, and I think it's tough not to pay attention to the anxiety when you are writing and you aren't in the mood. I tried to distract from my nervousness but everything was for nothing. I postpone the idea of writing until the evening and during the whole day I try to saturate the whole day with positive things. I do something that brings me joy.
This is a great question. I work as a copywriter and boy, it gets so, so tedious! I work for a cleaning company and some weeks I need to make well above 25 posts. It can get crazy. What else can I write about? "20 ways to hold your broom?" "How to fold the same cloth you've used every day?" However, work is work and one thing that helps me is just looking for topics in other languages. Like, people from other countries have other ideas that can work as inspiration. You can only find a limited amount of useful information out there. Yet, other languages hold the key to inspiration!
For quality writing, you have a good mindset, for good mindset, you have to enjoy each and every part of life. If you have a mood to write, no matter how much you write, it will be written in quality. If you don't have a mood then you can write a small piece of article, people don't like to read your article more.
I quite often find inspiration by watching YouTube Videos, once inspirated, any not feeling in the mood disappear It also helps if you have a passion for writing
It's getting harder and harder to battle writer's block. I used to go for a walk/run. The high after a brisk walk used to be enough to get my juices flowing, but its just not cutting anymore. I keep having to relax and either watch or read something for a long break. I usually end up getting distracted with other tasks.
I recommend following the rule of 3 ... Your first draft should be written quickly without any edits. Come back to it the next day and try to write something better. Then com back to it the day after and polish your article. This will help you get better as a writer and improve the quality of your work.
This almost always worked for me but I had to have the volume on low, otherwise it proved to be a distraction.
