In meta tag normally the keywords count should 10% of the websites content word count. But now a day there are ideal limit which every developer is following is 270 character for meta keywords.
I have done some testing and find that a simple website is easier to SEO. If title tag matches what is in your content and <h1> tag matches title tag, you will improve rankings. Finally, I suggest long tailed keywords are the way to go; instead of the keyword "graphics" use something like: "types of computer graphics."
In keyword Meta tag, put keywords only used in that particular page. Promote other keywords in each other internal pages. The second is , try long tail keywords and combination of keywords with using commas also.
I believe that in a meta tag, only one keyword should be used. You need to select the most expanded keyword and add it to the meta tags. The search engine will not be able to identify more than one keyword.
Actually Google no where considering Keywords , but in case if you want to use keywords - to 6 are maximum Note : Keywords should include most generic and long tail keywords.
As a general rule, you should aim for the following character limits within each of your meta tags: Page title – 70 characters. Meta description – 160 characters. Meta keywords – No more than 10 keyword phrases.
Depends on your content. if you have more content u can add more focused keywords. else the plugin will suggest you. You can optimized accordingly.
In this time google don't give any value meta tags for SEO. But if you want you can use it & be mind don't long.

Bottom line: For years, Google has ignored the keywords meta tag. This tag should never be used. Meta-keywords are no longer relevant. The keywords meta-tag was created in 1995 for very old search engines, and some claim that the success of Google was due to earlier search engines relying too heavily on this tag, hence it is not a ranking determinant. Google's website crawlers are now looking for comprehensive data that is relevant to users' Google search queries. This meta-tag is no longer supported by almost all major search engines (Google, Yahoo, and Bing). They no longer consider it a ranking indicator, hence it has no effect on their SERPs. Even SEO software such as Yoast has stopped using the meta tags. You should avoid meta tags as well, regardless of how you change your metadata (from the source code or with a tool). Instead, focus on long-tail keyword research, leverage the target keywords properly, and use title tags and meta descriptions to increase click-through rates on search engines. To improve user experience and increase conversions on your website, you should focus on generating useful and original content. Overall, meta tags provide no direct SEO benefit to your website.
