what type of movies do you consider are the best ??

Full color. Hate black-and-white movies.

 

I think that it is the Strong Woman. She enjoyed the series. She also has watched some other drama series, but I do not know what they are.

And what about wide screen vs full screen. Still can't decide so I don't watch any..................

 

Did not know full color movies were ever silents. Thought all silents were black-and-white.

Last wide screen movie I watched was over five decades ago. Once the local drive-in closed, I stopped watching them. Have not been to a drive-in since.

 

I guess it depends on what you meant by "full color." E.g., the 1928 silent film "Cleopatra" was shot in "Technicolor." There are quite a few silents that had color of some sort and then, of course, there are all the colorized silent films that were originally shot in B&W.

If you watch just to relax, then I prefer light, relaxed action films, and if the film is for thinking, then some kind of arthouse cinema

In my opinion, there is nothing better than scientific movies. I don't mean those movies where you have to think about everything during the whole fil and don't even dive into the plot. I mean those films which are create around scientific facts or stuff like that. These movies are based on proven sicnetific facts and their plots are always represented greatly. Of course, there are some people who can claim that movies are created to enjoy them and relax from daily routine without any brain overload. However, I state that everything is individual. One can state that it overloads your brain, while others claim that it's the best way to relax.

 

In my opinion, the best are either action movies or science fiction movies, because first ones can help you to relax after a long working day as well as comedies, the second ones sometimes bring you new knowledge in particular sphere of science. For example, if we consider such a movie like "Tenet", then there are plenty of interesting physical theories in this movie which are revealed greatly. Moreover, I got used to think that it's the best source of knowledge besides books and some other sources of theory. Of course, some people don't like science fiction, nevertheless I really like movies from Nolan. They're fascinating.
