How much does it cost to advertise on Yahoo Answers?

I saw ads on Yahoo Answers so I would like to know how much does it cost to advertise on Yahoo Answers? Has anyone tried it and what were your results? I'm not talking about spamming Yahoo Answers with links, but paying them to show my ad on the side.

No one here has any direct experience with Yahoo Answers advertising and their rates? I cannot find any rates on their advertising page for the square banner ads on the side.

It's free, just look for the right question, and answer it with some info plus a relevant link to your site for further info!

The price varies per visit, usually the price for the trip may vary from 0.15 up to 0.50

Yes, that only works for so long before they suspend your account. There are people out there, including your competition, who will on purpose report that you are spamming even if you're providing useful information and including your link. Yahoo terms of service states that you cannot include links to your website or promote your website in any way through your answers. As a result, I do not want to waste time posting answers just to find out that someone reported me when I reached some reputation and got to a higher level.

What you are saying would only work if you have an army of people posting for you your links but that would be considered blackhat marketing and against the terms of service so I do not want to go that route.

Not worth the money. Spend money on other advertising methods.

It depend on the bid, the price is start from $0.10
I prefer to hire some experience poster to make quality answer, the cost is much cheaper in long term

It will be always cheaper compared to adword. Min bid is 0.2 I guess.
But traffic is less compare to adword..

Have not tried the ads but I got sales from the links I post in there. Yes it works. I also wanted to know the rates plus if it is possible to display my ads in some specific questions only. Unless I try it myself nobody here seems to have tried it I guess.
