You may get the wrong type of customers.

But it depends on where your slogan appears and what images are associated with it.

If it's your website byline then the visitor knows you're a peanut butter company and they'll get the point.
If it's text on a text banner ad then they may miss the point.

If it's text on your product, it'll work.
If it's the only text on a staff t-shirt then it might not.

Sidenote, make sure that the font and styling doesn't let "It" be confused with "1st", unless you actually can benefit from the consequences.

Well, my bad I didn't actually mention where I intended to use this, it will be printed on the peanut butter bottle labels.

And thank you for the extra feedback!

I think that the concept is good. My only problem is with the word "Darling." I don't think that anyone today actually uses that word. 50 years ago, maybe. I am not exactly sure what you could replace it with, but "Babe" comes to mind or "Hon" (shortened version of "Honey") or even "Dude" or something like that.

The beauty of Darling is that its gender-neutral where Babe and Hon tend to be directed to a woman, and Dude to a man.

But you're right, it's got a very Mad Men feel to it.

You're correct, darling is not used these days, but i think it's OK as it's used here locally and well recognized in my country !

If you want your product to be taken seriously then don't use this stupid slogan. When selling anything you need to project competency and reliability. That is not what is going to happen by using this slogan.

It's a food product, the consumer needs to feel that the producer is not a complete idiot. That slogan is something a teenager on drugs might come up with.

Personally I will say no, it is not catchy, it is a kind of gender oriented and pretty long. Professionally I will say that probably should spend more time on different marketing efforts and not overthinking the slogan.

One of the more memorable snack food campaigns here in the U.S. actually launched in the 1960's but is still discussed in advertising circles and even among the general population. It was Lay's Potato Chips "Bet You Can't Eat Just One..." campaign. I am mentioning this only because your slogan has some elements of that campaign (couldn't stop until I ate it all.) Another similar themed snack campaign that I recall here was the Tootsie Pop challenge that asked "How many licks in a Tootsie Pop?" and the answer turned out to be "3" because after the first two licks, no one could resist crunching through to the chewy inside.

No, because it is not peanut butter. It is a peanut butter product claiming to be peanut butter.

I think, "Sorry! I ate it all!" is better because it explicitly implies that it is very good.
