    In the past I used to submit my sites to search engines and there were services that would do that for you and list all available search engines. Google "submit my site to search engines" see if you can find those services.

    Thanks! Do you consider Pinterest to be a search engine? And are there any other niche/specific topic search engines? I mean, not as broad as Google or Bing, etc.

    Actually both, for example Wiki really looks like Wikipedia, It is the perfect search engine for those who appreciate community-led information as found on sites like Wikipedia

    You shouldn't be sprayed with several search engines at once. Work on one, maximum two. Google's algorithms are similar to the algorithms of others, but this does not mean that they are the same.
