if you create something ppl like, and gain some links from other site, you'll get DA, don't focus on the DA itself, just try to offer valuable content to your customer.
DA totally depends on the number of high-quality relevant backlinks, you can increase DA by getting high-quality Do-follows backlinks, you have to be very careful about relevancy.
Agree 100% except for relevancy. here is what adds to DA (I think): 1) Lots of dofollow links from high DA domains 2) Lots of dofollow links from high PA pages 3) Less spammy links from spammy websites An interesting thing about MOZ DA is that even if you build a link to any of your subdomains, it will add to the overall domain authority. BUT: there are exceptions like blogspot.com with tons of subdomains they create for every new user. Another important thing: In addition to DA, there is also MOZ Spam Score. This is exactly where relevance, site quality etc. are starting to be important. Where can DA and Spam Score (SS) be used? 1) if you buy a new domain or website 2) If you want to sell your domain/website and you need a quick estimate 3) If you have a guest posting website and/or you publish sponsored guest posts or look for a website to host your guest post 4) If you sell backlinks Also, the MOZ tools are excellent if, for example, you need to answer a question: What is the BEST link to my website? Or which of my pages receive BEST links or worst links (here SS is used) As to the above discussion about concentrating on 'good content' - well, it depends on your resources and competition in your niche. Sometimes it is extremely hard or even impossible to compete, particularly, in commercial keywords, such as 'wooden chairs' or 'seo agency'. You can write texts for years and remain off the SERPS unless you take a step beyond...
First of all, not run behind DA. Nowadays, its a useless metric. Focus on producing quality content and increasing brand engagement.
You have to focus on making a user-friendly website with unique and knowledgeable content. Keep in mind to do proper SEO and follow all the vital parameters of Google. Increase the percentage of relevant backlinks. Eliminate low-quality backlinks, as if affects the overall quality. Keep on publishing content at regular intervals but generate content that increases the visit duration and decreases bounce rate. Maintain the do-follow and no-follow ratio. The best thing you can go with is the Schema technique.
Most of that has NOTHING to do with DA. Please stop posting about something you clearly know nothing about.
To increase your DA you must focus on more and more referring domain with relevant niches in a consistent way. This will surely help. I know so many sites who are so new but having a decent DA or DR(being fresh websites). And they follow the same strategy.
If your website's Technical SEO is perfect then focus on backlinks and social sharing that's enough for increasing DA.
Guest posting (high-quality content) is still an excellent strategy to increase domain authority and back links. Do a Google search to find relevant blogs in your industry for guest blogging opportunities.
DA is a made up number by Ahrefs. Its means nothing. Traffic is king. Traffic makes you money. First thing that everyone says is content. You can't push people to your site and have them bounce right away. Soon as you have some traffic you can then work on increasing your DA to get more people to your good content. There is a lot of sites that have very low DA and still have traffic.
It's easy to increase da with some specific spammy techniques(GSA etc). However, this will not help rankings at all. For that, you need quality relevant backlinks on high authority sites.
If you want to increase DA of yours site. Then you have to make quality backlinks. And most of links dofollow which will pass more link juice.
