Well, I think there's no need explaining what Clubhouse is.. So what I'm thinking, is that a new way of communication? People became so tired posting photos, writing texts, calling each other? I've entered few rooms and I wasn't really impressed with the idea as if I want to listen to someone, I'd better choose some podcast. What do you think about idea of moving to audio format? Do you like this app or prefer something more conservative?
And what do you think about its privacy? I don't think it's secured enough.. But people don't care much about their privacy online. Anyway, I usually use voices in order to save time and I like when it's secured and unique. In Utopia p2p for example you can even change your voice while sending To remain fully anonymous, speaking to some people you don't know.
I saw Musk inviting Putin on Twitter to a chat at a clubhouse. I am so freaking slow, I still have no idea what a clubhouse is and I am too lazy to find out. Information overload as it is. What is a clubhouse?
The Clubhouse is an audio-based social media app for iPhone users to join and listen to the conversation. Currently, it is in invite-only mode but soon it will be available for anyone to join. This app is getting popular day by day and Haddish was the first person to got 1 million followers on Clubhouse.
In my opinion, this application is not completely secure. I think that soon there will be a scandal similar to the situation with Tik-tok. You just have to wait
I don't agree with your point that people don`t care about their privacy online. I guess, it depends on person, people should have an opportunity to safe their personal info if it's necessary
Golden words. But you know, the problem is that not many apps provide real security to their users. They say they do, but check how many data leakage scandals they face. All the big corporations lose data from time to time.
For sure... ones you register in a couple of social media sites you can say "good by" to the security of your personal info
Most users consider registration and (further information adding) as obligatory optins, which is not true. Moreover they grand access to phone book, media etc t those apps. In any case there is always a choice: to accept invitation in the clubhouse group or not. To use browser version of FB or instagram or install app.
It's by invite only, and iPhone only. A lack of recording creates a lack of accountability. Add to that an atmosphere of pretentious acting, (trying to sound cool) and that makes me want to take a pass.
I agree with you! Admittedly, I find it difficult to trust an application that gets access to so much of my data and, moreover, has the right to store it somewhere.
By the way, the project that I've mentioned before, Utopia, now has a chat https://t.me/utopiachatoff where they answer all the questions and where you can speak to its users. Looks like a really good alternative to many of the popular apps. Just in case if it will be interesting to you.
Does no one remember the PalTalk? and besides Skype started as a group audio chat back then, It didn't make any buzz back then.
Hmm, this is something new. Tell me, how secure is this application? I am also interested in the channel in the telegram - I will definitely watch it. But do you understand that developers cannot always tell the truth about their product?
Sure. But there are questions not only about the security of the application. Moreover, among those 5000 participators, there are many active users that spend more than a year using the application. So you can also speak to them.
Okay, I'll check this channel too. I don't think developers would create something just because they are bored.
Is Clubhouse still alive? Hadn't heard of it for a week or 2 already.. It was a temporary bomb or what?
