Don't write. Use that time for ideas. Start outlining or mind mapping. Sometimes just starting something similar is enough to come up with ideas. To be honest, the most prolific writers, don't wait for the mood. They just do it, even if the writing is crap. You can always edit
Yeah I agree. Don't force yourself to write if you are not in the mood. That mood won't be that long, so probably relax, sip your coffee and take a walk.
What I learned from my experience is to never force myself when I feel like not writing. It's just that I don't produce the work I want to if I keep working without motivation. So, the key is to always do it with motivation or to do as much work as you can when you're inspired.
I understand what you are saying. And that can work if you are a free lancer working at your own pace and schedule. But what do you do if as I once was you are not in the mood to write, yet are under contract for an advertising firm and have deadlines and commitments to meet? What do you do if your paying client wants the goods delivered by noon tomorrow and you are burnt out motivation wise?
No one is going to pay you for using Texterro crap. If you tried to sneak prefab writing past me, I would fire you on the spot.
Take a deep breath, relax your muscles and imagine the place where you want to be. This breathing exercise can trigger your hormones to relax and produce hormones containing dopamine. That is the secret in having a clear mind when things got messy.
At first I do struggle with that. But I don't have issues with that anymore. Here is how I do it without having to write when am not in the mood. I have to pick all the titles I need to write for the month. Write aim and objective for each of the titles. But I discovered that am having issues with that. Meaning..., I was not able to meet up my writing plan requirement. Recently..., I decided to aim at writing 1 article per week. Whether am in the mood or not..., Here is what I do to get me in the mood when am writing; STAY FOCUSED APP This app help me to avoid distraction like; Website Notification Social Media Others What I will do is to select all the app and website I know will distract me. After that..., I will activate the blocking time. POMODORO APP This app help me to stay focus while writing. I can decide to write for 1 hour, less or more. I will create a project using the writing title. Set writing time for 25 minute and rest time for 5 minute. So for 4 Pomodoro Length means..., 25 minute writing X 4 Pomodoro Length = 60 minute 5 minute rest X 4 = 20 minute So that means I have spend 70 minute for the day without being stressed, burnout or tired. The problem with writing is..., When you write without taking short break. That will make writing to become boring. And that will make you not to be in the mood when you decide to write next time. As for my post, here is what I do to get in the mood; I will make and outline Do research Gather materials After that..., I will divide my outline into Milestones. Set date for completing each Milestones. Doing that, will make me completing each Milestones a day..., It will make writing easy for me. With that..., I start writing aiming at completing each Milestones a day. All this will only work..., If I activate Stay Focused App and Pomodoro Timer. Those two app will make you achieve your goals. You will not have to bother yourself about writing when you are not in the mood. Because..., Those two app is a solutions to that. They will help you not to experience; Writers block Burnout Tired Stressed You can find those app in; Google Play Store iTune App Store But the most interesting part is..., After you have experience on how these apps help you in writing project. You come to realise that..., The apps will become like a God to you. Meaning..., You can do without it.
Since writing became my passion , I enjoy it too much to allow feeiling to disrupt my writing flow. I find a good way to come up with content, is to go through emails or social sites to get inspired, even by one word will spark writing ideas off
HOW does taking a deep breath RELAX muscles? Taking a deep breath REQUIRES you to CONTRACT your muscles, NOT relax them. Breathing left has never helped me do anything either.

We are human and it's normal to have such kind of mood or condition. In this condition, I would like to spend my time to do which I like or spend time with family and friends.
That could work, every time I spend time with my family I want to shut myself off from the world and start writing in order to get them off of my mind!
