Welcome, take a read through the existing posts in this forum but check the date on info - things change and what was valid 2 years ago might not be now.
Well, most of the stuff on here will steer you in the wrong direction. Search articles on the SE roundtable or Neil Patel's blog if you're interested in the stuff that actually works.
You won't live long enough to know all about SEO, but the first thing you need to learn is that most SEO is nothing more than snake oil. You are far better off giving the VISITORS the CONTENT they WANT rather than trying to manipulate the search engines.
The very first thing you need to do is determine EXACTLY what you want to accomplish with your website. Examples are: 1) online store 2) information about your brick and mortar store 3) blogging site 4) driving visitors to a different website 5) question and answer website 6) crisis prevention/help site and so on. Until you know what you want to accomplish, NO ONE CAN HELP YOU GET A WEBSITE UP AND GOING.
Write a business plan - download a template and work through it. If you're spending time and money on something then that's a business. You need to know What you expect your website to do. How much time and money you're prepared to spend on the business each week. Who your competitors are. What your competitors are doing well, and badly. What your website is going to do that nobody else is doing. What skills you have "in house" (that's you, your partner etc) and what skills you need to buy. What skills you don't have but are prepared to learn (eg SEO). What your budget is. What targets you have to let you know if your business is successful. What failure looks like - at what point do you shut it down and walk away. Once you know all that we can start to advise you on the type of website that will let you attain your goals within your budget.
It's bog standard wordpress. There's nothing clever that they've done. You can replicate that in less than an hour. HOWEVER copying a site doesn't get you any closer to achieving success (whatever that looks like) because you're just a copycat. You have to be better!
Is that me you're talking to? "Evelyn" should know that not all web users are male. Check out https://forums.digitalpoint.com/thr...-at-this-advice-needed.2867087/#post-19675777
