will domain line cool.news get same results as coolnews.com ?

Coolnews.com is the better of the two. Also, is it a keyword you use on the site? If so it's good SEO practice to have it in the url.

Hence, this logic does not work in the long run. Instead, buy a domain or a TLD for the brand or company's relevance and follow best practices separately.
