Lots of good replies so far. When it comes to selecting the right payment processor for anything in the ecommerce space, the first thing I would consider is integrations. If you're using a platform like Woocommerce or Shopify, then either use their included processing option or one that easily integrates with them (such as Auth.net, Paypal, etc). However if you are on a custom build and have the option of connecting to any gateway you want, then a new trend in 2020 is called Zero Fee payment processing, or 0% payment processing. It basically allows you to seamlessly pass on the fee to your customer at checkout in a fully compliant way. Given the notoriously slim margins in ecommerce, this small change can often double your net margin. I specialize in this area of payment processing and wrote an FAQ about it here: https://www.kmpfinancial.com/the-0-percent-program Best of luck
On my last research years back, Stripe was one of the cheapest and most user-friendly payment processor.
I know that Paypal is great, I'm using Paypal but still if your looking alternative then Stripe is also one of the good payment gateway
Paypal is about to create a Paypal coin lol This is because cryptocurrency is winning the competition. The best way today is just cryptocurrency either XRP or DOGE which is a lot cheaper when it comes to transaction fees.
