Martial Art It's a technique used to protect yourself against an opponent stronger than you. And this art goes back to Early times The most fundamental human need is safety. I think you'll discover the Right Martial Art Style for You On this video.
If I'm in a bad area I carry pepper spray. I also have a taser in my glove box in order to properly greet any car jackers.
I studied Tae Kwon Do myself. It taught me self-discipline - which at that time of my life I was in dire need of I guess. These days if I was to get back into it I believe I'd opt for a more spiritual style like Tai Chi.
Hi sir ... I have a Question please .... Can someone overcoming a group in the battle .... if he was good at martial arts
That's not a realistic question, what if one or more of the group has a gun? no martial arts will protect you from a bullet. That's not even your video, The original one belongs to someone else: I hope she tracks you down and kicks the shit out of you..
I totally agree. Although part of my training did include sparring with multiple opponents at one time. It's a very hard battle to win - even if your opponents have weapons other than those attached to their bodies.
One can never confuse the terms 'martial art(s)' with the term 'self defense' Personally I believe there is way more to martial arts than safety and security. Originally; I believe it was a means of expressing, practicing, and improving ones religious experience all while achieving peace, tranquility, respect, and confidence. In many early cultures as we know; it was illegal to actually practice it as a warfare technique at a laymans level for fear of overthrowing the government and so it had to be disguised as a religious practice or a form of artistic expression....thus the term martial art. I believe the term self defense is the skill learned to provide a sense of self insured safety and while both serve a defense purpose well--the first takes years for successful learning while the second can be achieved in much shorter order. That aside--so many styles and hybrid substyles exist of the martial arts that one could never even study them all just to have knowledge of them.
Which is why (at least in Tae Kwon Do) you gain the knowledge as you work through the belts that you're merely earning the right to learn. You receive the key to the door that opens to true learning when you achieve the black belt level.
