To get indexed quickly, it is most important to register your website at Google Search Console.

    https://search.google.com/search-console/about

In order to get indexed fast and to receive top rankings you will need to show to Google that the website deserves to be found. The Google Search Console essentially helps webmasters to optimize a website according to Google's quality standards.

It is advised to check-in to Google Search Console regularly and follow their advice for website improvement. Google notices this behavior and it can be seen as a quality and reliability aspect of a website.

    1. Using the "URL Inspection" function of your google search console is the right way to know whether a page of your website has been indexed or not.

    2. Otherwise, you may use the "cache" command in the google search bar.
    cache:www.thisdomain.com/page

The cache is available for any web site. However, it is not always reliable and does not work for pages with a nocache meta.

Of course, yes, you can. I mean you can rank well in an hour.

You can rank well in an hour even without backlink.

This actually depends on the query: if your content has been indexed and exactly matches the query, it can be ranked well in an hour without incoming backlink. Example: this can be the case for some of the queries that have never been made previously (15% of daily requests, according to Google)

Of course, if the query is competitive (several contents correspond well to the request), backlinks and other ranking factors come into play. So getting ranked well can then take hours, weeks, months, or never be achieved

Not true. Google discontinued caching web pages YEARS ago. I was pissed off when they did that because I was viewing cached pages almost every day. Now it is impossible to view the original indexed page unless that page is a STATIC page, which most are not.

Not really. Most results of the Google results pages have still a link (in a popup) to the cached page.

Whenever you search with Google on your desktop, you can click just next to the URL of each result to get in most cases a link to the cached page, as stated in the image from my previous post.

Last year, when Google experienced some bugs in the indexation process (and then in the cache date), webmasters complained about that temporary bug; but nobody said the cache no longer existed.

When I click next to the links, nothing ever happens. When I click the links, the latest version comes up.

Simply click the small icon (an inverted triangle that opens a small drop-down menu) just next to the URL of a result.

Otherwise, I cannot help you further. Ask for assistance from a friend.

Anyway, Google cache has not been discontinued.

Where is that link that you CLAIM to be on the Google search page? Show me in this screen shot of links for "junk":

I am sorry, I can't help you further. All details have been given above, including a snapshot of a Google SERP.

Google cache has not been discontinued, as evidenced by this snapshot of a google cache of a page of your own site.

This ends my contribution to this discussion.

You can rank in 1 hour there is no problem in that but you will have to pay for an indexing service, no way around it :/

    Total NONSENSE.

I have had dozens, if not hundreds, of pages ranked in LESS than one hour and NEVER PAID ANYONE A SINGLE CENT. I know of a few times when I added a page to my site where it was ranked in LESS than TEN MINUTES.

It's possible. You just need to optimize your page or post properly. And follow the instruction of google for ranking your site.

it depends on many reasons, but if keywords are not difficult, the top is not occupied by "monsters', texts are seo optimised, plus inbond and outbond links, yes, it's possible

There are many factors to rank on google.
If the competition of the keywords is low then it takes less time to rank for that keywords on google. And it usually takes 3 to 6 months to rank for keyword

Yes its possible even less than a week, you just need to work on your website a lot and expose it to more social media and community forums.

You can definitely have a website indexed within an hour. It happens to me all the time
How, when you register a new domain name, many registers will notify whois sites and search engines.

With any concurrent pages on your website, they will usually get indexed fairly quickly. ie a couple of days.
However, engines like google will quickly get an understanding of how often you create new content and how often they crawl your website.

Now with that out of the way, your key focus is not how long until your pages get indexed. If you have good original content, it will get indexed.
What you need to do is focus on 2 major components to actually rank high enough for people to find your website/pages. This is done with 'on-page' and 'off-page' SEO

There is a heap of good information here, just use the search box on the top right-hand side of this page to get started.

Good luck with your website :)

According to multiple sources, the average time for websites to rank on Google through optimization (SEO) techniques is about three to six months.

But no SEO specialist will ever give a specific date. Moreover, any person involved in search engine optimization sites - be it a beginner or a guru - never knows it. The answer to this question involves considering many factors, including the authority of the domain, the competitiveness of the niche, the budget, the skills and abilities of the promotion specialists, and much more, not to mention the simple uniqueness of each individual site.
