I think best and cheapest combination is not good ..... Because if cheapest then you can not expect for best and if you are looking for best then cheapest will not work.

So if you are looking for free advertisement or cheapest then you can try free advertisement classified ads sites list. You can see there option to post your ads either free or with some nominal charge.

In social media like facebook gives option to advertise your products or services on page .... So if you have FB page then can add your product or services there also for free. Other social media have to post with suitable hashtags.

    Not a simple question

How happy are existing consumers with their existing products?
Are they actively searching for alternatives? or do you need to shake them up before they'll switch brands?

Is there an existing market? or do you need to find people who don't even know they need it yet?

Is this a big-ticket item that they need to consider and save for? or is it the kind of thing you buy on a whim?

Uh, that depends on the product. Some platforms respond best to specific offers or niches due to the simple nature of their users. For fashion, health, and wellness products, IG would be a good place to peddle your wares. Unfortunately, it does take time to build a presence and enough of a repertoire with the users.

Facebook is a more generalized platform where you can advertise a wide variety of products and services.

Pinterest is where arts and crafts folks go to show off what they got.

That's just the social media front though. There are plenty of other avenues such as email marketing, YouTube marketing, affiliate marketing, reviews, sponsorships, and many others.

Best and a cheap way is social media marketing. Leverage the social platforms where millions and millions of people are connected.

Use fb , Twitter to market your product. If possible after that develop a website gradually.

There are lots of ways in which you can market .Just develop the right content, right timing and a good social platform.

The best way to advertise a product is a combination of free advertisement and paid ads. This way you have opportunities to reach your followers through social media for free. And you can reach additional people through paid ads. Maybe you even have your own website. Then you can get some free traffic if you did SEO correctly. As you can see, there are different ways to do it and there is no real best way. But I think if you try to combine different channels to advertise, you have the best chances :)

Best Way: multi-million dollar omnichannel campaign including TV, radio, print, and online advertising, including a top tier celebrity endorser.

Cheapest: Put a handwritten sign on the lawn.

I would think yelling from the rooftops would be cheaper since there are no materials involved like when making a sign.

I stand corrected. If the rooftop yelling gets too tiring after a while, the entrepreneur could go down to street level and accost passersby with a sales pitch, too.

The best way may not be the cheapest. The cheapest way from my experience is via social media and it is effective. You can also lookout for free bulletin postings at your nearest community center / bus stops. This depends on where you are from, but that's available where I am at.

Best of all the cheap methods would be getting a video or something viral on social media.
Some kind of crazy funny video which somehow brings your product in focus.
However, people are very smart. Most will not share a video if it openly endorses some product.
You need to be very suddle in bringing focus on your product.

    Your cost would involve,
getting a good quality video made,
may be pay some popular twitter or instagram accounts to share it for the initial push.

One more way is getting your product reviewed by some popular bloggers. Give them a free copy, ask them to post a review of the product.
Helps if you also got an affiliate program going, then these bloggers can link to your product via their affiliate links.

FB Ads would be the best way for product promotion(Inorganic) but it won't be cheap though. Cheapest option would be Organic marketing on social media platforms.

You can tie up with some YouTubers(with some average audience) to promote your product.

My advice will be look for quality and not cheap, because in the long run if you have cheap traffic that give you cheap audience you might not able make your investment bank , and that will result to loss.

Well, if you're looking for cheap and you wanna make most of that "cheap" - definitely go with Social Media. Contact bloggers, youtubers etc. as well. Social media is your friend in this case.
