HXCmp3 is known for being the world's largest dedicated resource for hardcore/metal MP3's. We are a free service based on the Jamroom Media Content Management framework and collect revenue via advertising with our IndieClick and Google affiliates. Our service boasts over 25,000 bands and record labels from across the globe with over 35,000 songs available. We started the service just over 3 years ago and have had over 60,000,000 MP3 downloads and streams from our tens of thousands of active listeners.

Recently, our main database server was hacked and taken down. We will be bringing it back up and restore the site to its full functionality in a few days or so as soon as ThePlanet gives us a quote for this .Consequently, we are looking for parties interested in acquiring our service and bringing it back to life in a fulfledge manner.

Never concentrated on the revenue part of this.The owner just wanted the revenue for paying the servers as he is from a Rock Music genre.

February 14,2004 - December 21,2006 - $10,354.83 ( has been down for several weeks)

Indiclicks : $2532.50 for the year 2006 (Can send the detailed PDF files to serious bidders)

We also regularly charged $150-$300/month per banner ad for people coming to us for ad sales.

You'd be able keep the contract with IndieClick as well as start your
own Google Adsense account easily to continue the same revenue
sources. In addition we sold our own banner ads as well as paid
placements for promo spots but we don't have the figures on those.

Server 3: CPU: Dual Core Pentium 4 3.0 GHz / HD's: dual 80 gig IDE. / RAM: 1 gig. 1500 GB Bandwidth / Month hosted through Layered Tech. $65/month billed by provider. Minimum bid: $100 one time fee, not including $100 transfer fee incurred by Layered Tech.

All servers will be provided "as is" except site data will be wiped. If desired, The Planet does Operating System reloads for $25 and and Layred Tech does them for $50.

I dont think , you can run this own a single server.The whole setup consisted of three servers. One powerfull database server. Two satellite servers with plenty bandwidth and disk space.
How ever its your choice, but i doubt you server can handle that much traffic.

yes ....It is...It belongs to the respective artists and bands who have signed up on the website.There are a lot of unsigned bands out there.
