I am saying same that due to cost many people think that yoast will handle remaining work of SEO. I personally use sometime free version of SEO plugins on client demand otherwise first i do not prefer wordpress for long term business website and second lots of plugins which are showing lots of conditions that you did this then now do this
@vna1611 Sure, a college training is not needed to be a webmaster, but a wordpress user is like he never even went to school...
A masters degree in what? Oncology? Macrame? Turdpress? Medicine? Dermatology? Geneology? Geography? or WHAT? And how does that have any bearing on the tools used for web development?
@vna1611 When I said "wp users are like as if they have not even gone to school", I meant "web development school", not medical school or business school etc. If someone's job is "fixing car engines", what good is their "law degree" in their car fixing profession?
This depends on the number of competitors the keyword you want to rank for has! It is super easy to rank for a keyword that has no competition at all. You can get No.1 within a day and stay there. However, if you want to rank for a VERY competitive keyword it cannot be done in 3 months... my experience.
If you can get first position for low competition within a day then for competitive keywords 3 months are very long time ...... Because its all depends on site where your site links are. Google do not index website just after registration, He pick any links to our site and if you can rank within 1 days means you have ideas that from where you should get backlinks for quick indexing. So keep it up and get many quality backlinks and you will be on first page within few weeks for competitive keywords also.
Truth is, you can. I ranked a brand new blog (although the domain was registered a few months back) on Google and even made $503.54 in affiliate commissions. So yes you can if you know what you are doing.
According to multiple sources, the average time for websites to rank on Google through optimization (SEO) techniques is about three to six months. That's right – jumping to the front of Google's results usually takes between 90-180 days, depending on the competitiveness of your industry and popularity of your keywords.
Absolutely. If you create seriously good content that people start sharing right away and that spreads to a lot of authoritative sites then it's entirely possible.
Nonsense. You do NOT need good content to be ranked. All you need is content (good or bad) that is indexed. Nothing more. Nothing less.
I think the assumption was that the OP wants to rank well. In which case, for competitive keywords, you will need to create very good content.
Assuming anything is a recipe for DISASTER. If the OP wanted answers for good ranking, he should have said so. It is ONLY one more word 4 letters long which I is hardly a back breaking task to accomplish.
I managed to rank one of my websites within 3 hours onto page 1. I was so surprised that it happened so quickly, as the page was part of a landing page for a affiliate link. After 24 hours it was ranked number 1. it was on the lines of “win a trip to.....” what I did was the following: 1. wrote an article of about 800 words 2. Added a few pictures of the location that the sweepstakes offer was for. 3. Added a call to action button, in this case it was “Enter now” 4. Posted in a few sweepstakes Forums, about 6 I think it was. This brought 6 back links, 4 were dofollow and 2 were no follow. 7 months later the page is ranked in 2nd spot. the amount of traffic I was getting per day was about 3000 (This was before COVID) and people wanted to win a trip. I was earning about $450/day with that traffic, because it is a very popular destination.
You can "rank" a web page quickly. I added an article to my website two days ago. Just now I Googled a phrase relevant to that new page's title. It came up #27, just two days after submission to Google Search Console. I should mention that I had internal links to it from about 15 of my ranked pages, including the home page. I also posted links to that page in my reddit.com, folkd.com, and diigo.com accounts.
