What is best practice to choose social profile username?

Dear all webmasters

I just want to know that what is the best username practice for SEO purpose having
.com at the end of the username or without having .com or .net whatever domain extension is.
for example
https://www.reddit.com/user/howtobecomefaq
https://issuu.com/howtobecomefaq.com

I am creating a social profile for my website https://www.howtobecomefaq.com/, therefore I am confused to choose a username

please suggest me a good way to choose the username related to the website which can help in SEO

 

You can use namechk.com to find out a suitable and available username for not on;y domains but multiple social media handles at once. It is very useful.

 

If the extension is not .com then may be you should use the extension, otherwise without .com is good enough

 

Keep in mind, people are more likely to follow your personal profile. In other words, this:


John Smith
CEO @ Watever.com

will appeal to more people as opposed to this:


Watever.com

I know for myself, let's say on Twitter, I tend to follow profiles that have a pic and the name of the person. Yes, it's full of fake profiles, but you can always tell which is which.
