There are 7.5 billion people in the world. Because of poverty let us say half (3.75 billion) have access to computers, phones, tablets etc. This means by your calculations every one of them would have had to hit Youtube about 9 times each during the period of a month. I do believe that I've had it with this thread...just too much!
It's possible due to people checking new cases of Covid-19 each 5 minutes. I visit the site myself something like 10 times a day.. Do the math!
You should get a life too, posting 9 times in someone else thread that talking about something not that important and having a post count of almost 7000 means that you don't have shit to do. Try to find something to do and mind your business
It's entirely possible, this 17 year old kid built his Covid tracker site on his own, maintains it himself and gets over 30 million visitors every day, simple maths.... nearly a billion every month. https://www.businessinsider.com/hig...n-made-a-coronavirus-tracker-2020-5?r=US&IR=T
For the record I check probably 5 or 6 times a day as well as family and coworkers. It's indeed very possible as people are glued to that site.
I am 99% positive these tools use scraping off sites like wikipedia or government sites. I have noticed that when pages popup on wiki for individual US states shortly that same state has data on other tracking sites.
