Does anyone really know? I mean does anyone really know the ins and outs of google ranking, seo and the like? Seems it is something you would definitely have to be on top of as it changes so much. So many people that say they are SEO experts, when I talk to them about SEO they talk about what really boils down to spamming.

You think but do not know?

There is an English word (ignoramus) for people that do not know something.

You were not the last. I am still using XP (right now). I prefer 2000, but a DLL got corrupted and it no longer works.

As for IE6, I never used it. The only IE that I have ever used is IE5 because nothing else would work. Hated IE5 with a passion, but had no choice at the time.

I loved winXP! Everything was so fast and smooth on that system, was wonderful.
Only reason I left it was because IE stopped updating and newer sites won't open with older IEs, plus my CPU got burnt...

I liked those older IE versions too.
They were very good for "not loading" additional ads in iframes when browsing sites.
All I had to do was hit ESC key a couple of times and it would stop all processing and downloading.
Those slow loading tweet numbers, share to facebook iframe, slow ads in iframes, all would stop.
With current version, it won't stop processing iframes.
I feel much safer with current IE versions though.

What you feel about IE, I feel about firefox. Worst browser ever. Good for debugging JS code, nothing else.
Chrome is ok, but can never trust it.

Somebody made a post in this forum last month, showed "analytics" stats of their website.
They said analytics is saying 70% of their website visitors are females.
There is no way any IP/userAgent based tracking system can distinguish between female/male users.
Obviously its connecting IP to some email account and deciding if email is owned by female or male.
Or may be using something from chrome profile, and making that data available to analytics javascript, when you open an analytics enabled website in chrome... GOD knows.

These are just horror stories. They just want to make links spam less. Penguin as a punishment, bullying. Now they say they stop Page Rank.

It is obvious pagerank still exist because it is not just a stupid number 0-10, but the element of ranking engine concerning link structure and power.
