Contest Custom logo design for new website service $75 ends 4/5

Greetings logo designers! We've made some changes to our mission and have a new name/site to work with. We need this to be professional and appealing. Please let me know if you use clipart.

Our diluted purpose to protect the business: We advise the overworked job candidate and help them seek the best job that meets their dream/desire. We help them get the "stipend" that their hard work deserves above and beyond the average candidate.

Hints:
May incorporate the Rod of asclepius because it will be dedicated to medical professionals. This may be used as the S in stipender, perhaps as a dollar sign as well. We want to be able to use the "S" separately as a standalone logo/avatar for communications or marketing material so it should be visually appealing in its own right.

Colors:
Gold, cascade green, orange, black are possible colors that can be used but not limited to these.

Payment:
Paypal. Final files should be sent with ability to change colors/background as needed to match the website (isn't finished yet!).

I'll be happy to provide feedback, this is my first time posting in the forums today so I hope I'm doing this right (I read the rules and bought my membership!)

 

The new logo needs to match this template color schema. We are replacing the "GasCruiter" part with "Stipender".

Good vision of what we are imagining. Perhaps tighten/wrap the snake's tail around the rod near the bottom so the S isn't lost. Decent font. Perhaps try the rod with an orange or gold color so that it sets it apart, maybe a gold or wood staff.

 

Font doesn't do it for me. The snake/staff might be "too" much towards the dollar sign idea that it could lose some of its medical meaning.

Another small modification:

 

Some general feedback that applies to more than one poster: Try coiling the snake around the staff to give it a dimensional feel. For those that choose a longer snake, try coiling the tail tighter around the staff at the bottom so as not to lose the S, I drew an example...also, try different fonts or use a wood staff instead of bronze just to see variety. @galalogo, I appreciate the creativity with the red cross.

 

By the way, we hope you are all staying safe from all old and new viruses!
