My website is performing well in Google while its worst in Yahoo & MSN. I am going to submit my website to some paid & unpaid directories like Yahoo Directory, ExactSeek, Octopedia.com etc. Would it help to improve ranking & indexing of my website in Yahoo?? Also can u please suggest low cost good directories that really works.. I'll appreciate your kind suggestions..!!
I would think getting listed in the yahoo directory should help you get found by yahoo. MSN seems to favor spam
I think that is very good for you that your page is preforming well in google and that is most important, don't worry about Yahoo they will increase your rating if you don't broke some of their policy, first read their Yahoo policy and then if everything is ok contact them and ask why your rating didn't increase in Yahoo.
on your site's main keywords could you get so much traffic from yahoo? because on most of my site the percent is 80% google - 20% yahoo+msn
Well Andrei, the 90% traffic of my website is from Google & remaining 10% is from all other resources.
YES you are absolutely right.. I have di an analysis on the websites that are coming in MSN top searches and found the same..
it's good when your site rank well on Google... as they use different algorithm results will definitely different...try to use Directory Critic
