Nobody can make money in a business, which folds up. You should read my article on Death of File-sharing.
More to the point - what were you thinking? @planck is right, file sharing is a dreadful niche and one that will bring you no end of stress. The income you're offering members can be viewed as entrapment - you're luring people into a situation where they need to break the law to earn money. Please show us an example where someone can earn meaningful income from your site using their own content.
All the file-sharing heavy-weights are gone. MegaUpload got taken down by the FBI. MegaUpload founder, Kim Dotcom is still on the run, somewhere in New Zealand. Rapidshare did everything it could to stay within the law; but they still got drained with endless copyright and DMCA lawsuits. They had to close shop in spite of themselves. A few people are still making money selling file-sharing accounts, but their situation is always precarious. From one day to the next, the guy running the file-sharing site might be forced to close shop and elope... Somalia might be a good destination. Maybe Mexico ... hang out with some of those drug kingpins in Cancun or Acapulco
elope, not so much, escape might be better But don't come down to NZ, Kim Dotcom has cost us a bundle and we can't get rid of him. We definitely don't want another!
Jacinda Ardern is probably receiving some bitcoins from Kim. I think more mischievous characters will be choosing NZ as their destination of choice. Sorry about that. You should take a positive outlook to the immigration. It is having positive effects in Singapore... lots of foreign investments pouring in... not the cleanest money, but just as green as any other.
No problem with immigration but that particular immigrant will have cost more than he's ever contributed to our economy. I don't think Jacinda is taking anything from Kim Dotcom - but with an election looming now would be the time to provide evidence of corruption.
No problem with immigration? You guys have the toughest and the most rigid immigration laws. But your population has been in decline, sooner or later they will have to loosen the laws somewhat.
Japan has began loosening up their immigration laws. They are now allowing in Philippine immigrants. Everyone thought Japan would hold onto its ethnocentric culture.
