Hello, I have a website hosted at iPage but their service is not reliable. My website gets down 4-5 times at least everyday for different reasons, although the traffic is not massive around 1000 daily. I will move to Amazon hosting but not at the moment, so if anyone can recommend a shared hosting, I will appreciate it. Thank you
Hi mrweb, you can find shared hosting offers in this section: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/forums/web-hosting.98/
I highly recommend HawkHost. I've been using them for several years and they're great. You can review their server status page here: http://hawkhoststatus.com/. You may also want to review these hosting companies and see which one has the best hosting package for you: CrocWeb Namecheap KnownHost GreenOliveTree DreamHost HostMantis
It really depends what server specification and region where you wish to host your website. Looking on some above mentioned hosts, I highly recommend to check the reviews.
Try to contact Publisherpick. they give consulting to publishers about hosting and everything needed for your site
As I know Centohost.com is a good place for getting hosting accounts at reasonable rates. It has nice reliability, easy to use control panel and excellent customer support.
As per your concern for best hosting Hostgator will be the best which will improve your website and your website will not hang out and it is cheap rate and it can handle high and low traffic and powerful hosting
i recommed casbay. currently they also doing their christmas promotion which up to 40%. you can visit the website and look through, hope this would help u.
Might be time to man up, put on the big boy pants, and stop screwing around with the outdated RELIC that is shared hosting, and spring for a VPS. Possibly even an unmanaged one where you install all your server software yourself, configure it exactly to YOUR needs, and stop relying on these sleazy little fly-by-night shared hosting scams that cost as much if not more. ... since once you're set up, you shouldn't have to worry about anything more than a monthly apt-get update / apt-get install (or whatever your favorite distro equivalent is) I mean hell, the VPS I'm paying for right now is twice as powerful as my old dedicated was at a fifth the cost... and 99% of the time if something goes wrong, I have full access to fix it and only have myself to blame.
If you but VPS I will be responsible for everything including installing firewalls and so on. I'm not so good at administrating web servers.
What about cloud hosting with Amazon or Microsoft, any idea about it? Is it the same like buying a VPS but with more flexibility?
Cloud hosting is a distribution of resources across several servers (Yes. It does provide redundancy), Wether it be VPS or Shared. If you're not familiar with web servers I would suggest highly against a VPS. By the sounds of it, you're website is low traffic (shared will be fine). Much of the above is/are good hosts.
