Why is there such a huge difference between yahoo and google? On some keywords im on the front page of yahoo while im ranked in the 500's on google. On every keyword i rank about 200 spots above what i do on google. Did they not index my changes or do they take longer ? I know they look for different things but the difference is so huge.
google takes more time than yahoo n msn to give rankins for us site.. Each of them hav their own algos so the results will vary..
Yahoo! and MSN are more leniant on new sites while Google's algorithm for ranking sites is probably a lot different and factors in a ton of other things that the others do not. If you get to a top position in Google SE for any keywords then congrats because its quite an accomplishment
sites been up for a year and a half so I guess I will just mess around to try and get the best ranking I can
SHO, Yahoo is more on page - relying on things like meta tag alignment with content. Google is more off page - relying more on links and the anchor text they contain.
Google has a unique algorithm compared to yahoo. It is very difficult to rank high in Google, depending on your keywords
