    The two different whois sources I use show

    Dates 114 days old
    Created on 2019-06-12
    Expires on 2020-06-12
    Updated on 2019-08-24

    Second one shows this

    Creation Date: 2019-06-12T10:30:39Z
    Registration Expiration Date: 2020-06-12T10:30:39Z

    When I check my domains some of which I have had registered under three different registrars mine all show the date of first registration by me.

    Someone else may have owned domain it past but this incarnation of the domain appears to be relative new.

    Past history seems to show
    IP History 36 changes on 36 unique IP addresses over 15 years

    Registrar History 8 registrars with 7 drops
    Hosting History
    Hosting History 73 changes on 18 unique name servers over 11 years

    Most age checkers only show the date when it was taken by the last owner, in this case it was me. It does not show the time when it was owned by the football club.

    Always check archive.org to see the actual age of the domain.

    I don't think you quite understand how domain age works, when a domain was first registered makes no difference, every time a domain is dropped the age is reset to zero, this domain has been dropped 7 times.

    Yes for domain age checkers (even though some show the actual domain age), but this has not proven to be the case with regards to SEO.
    Anyways, that's not the reason why the domain is being sold in the first place.
