I'm about to help my friend start an affiliate program about loans. What makes active affiliates want to join a program?
we want to join due to many factors. one being the spliting of the revenue. we want higher piece of pie.
If you set up an affiliate program then don't just set it up for the extra traffic, set it up because you want to earn from it and reward your affiliates for their efforts. Alot of CPA loan type programs get set up and they don't bother paying their affiliates. What we look for is good revenue share, good reputation in the program / company, low minimum payout, lots of different payout options, paid weekly - month, etc.
Honesty and integrity when dealing with affiliates! No shaving of affiliate stats and other dishonest practices. Decent payout percentage/commission. Merchant should have done extensive landing page conversion testing prior to launch. Open 2-way communication between affiliates and merchant (dedicated blog/forum) Regular monthly payouts (at minimum). Prompt affiliate payment via multiple methods (cheque, EFT, etc) Thats about it I think
Thanks a lot. And I will do what I can to help my friend set it up as best as he can. And yes, I can definitely vouch for his honesty and will pass everything on to him what you guys say. Btw. if you guys don´t have a site that is in any way finance, real estate or loan related, would you still advertise a loan program? And what sorts of results can be expected from it?
comissions and conversations, what else? your first priority would be to get highly targetted traffic of people who are actually searching for loans, otherwise the conversations would be very low. I'd be interested to join too, got some loans traffic drop me a pm once you set it up, Mike, or if i can help with anything
Hi everyone, Maybe 'cause affiliates keep on seeing new avenues for profit. It doesn't just end with one program. And Michael_Goldman is right, prolly 'cause we build connections and commissions during the process
describe us about how you earn money and how much we can profit from that because thats necessary when dealing with a affilate program
Right, it´s basically a banner or text link leading to the affiliate url of a mortgage and loan service, and the referral fees will be around $250.00 per referral. A good friend of mine owns the site, I want this to become one of the leading affiliate programs out there, so you guys tell me what it would take to get you to join, and I will design everything around that. - Mike
i'd say higher revenue, and sometimes i reject on the programs because their banner doesn't go with the site, so try to make a variety of banner which is attractive, and don't ruin the look of the sites.
Recommendation: Look into ShareASale . com - great "starter" network to post your affiliate program on. You'll find a lot of quality affiliates, without breaking the bank.
Recommendation #2: SoftwareProjects develops and sells a proprietary custom affiliate system. PM me for details if you're interested and I'll hook you up with a free setup.
I want an affiliate manager/company that wants me and I want them to help me help them! I've always wondered why vendors with affiliate programs don't go an extra mile to provide 'more', such as PLR articles or sales blurbs or encourage affiliate to reprint testimonials or text from the vendors website etc. I've also wrote an article on my website that might demonstrate this idea some more.... feel free to view it here.
good creative payout options per lead or per loan tracking reports tiered - more for you means more ($) for me * good support (someone to talk to if you have a question)
Gotcha| Do some of you make pretty good money just by advertising to affiliate and building up a downline? Btw, checking www.affearners.com now - Mike
