I used digital point since 2006, and as I see today online user is not even 5 % as before it is, No it's not about the traffic it's about people also. before I spend even all days and now too much silent in DP.
It's down to the way the internet has changed. Back then you didn't have sites like facebook or "Q&A" sites like Stackoverflow
If you think it's a bit slow here you ought to check out Warrior forums. The place is a ghost town. It's been so many years since I posted there that I have forgotten my password. My prediction is that they have perhaps 1- 2 years of life left as their advertising slowly dries up. Then everyone will gravitate over here and breath new life into DP. I believe that Facebook, Twitter, and other social media have had their impact. But as the other forum/marketing sites die off, only DP will remain and hold steady. There will always be a need for a place like this.
13 years and 161 posts - I don't think you've "used digitalpoint" at all, you've popped in now and then. You probably have the answers we need - like what is it that has stopped you from posting more over the last 13 years? Do you expect others to do all the work so don't need to post?
It's funny how quickly a forum goes down once it changes hands. Not just a forum. I hope Shawn never considers selling this one.
I'm hoping that there's going to be some pushback against some of the big social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. You know right now they have some software features that a form like this doesn't have, such as voice chat and video chat and voice messaging. But I think some features like this are going to work their way into forms like this in the future. I think Google is doing a pretty good job of making it so the browser can do many of these things. When this starts to happen it would not surprise me if there's going to be some resurgence informs like this. I can only hope anyway.
yes, you right that I m not posting as much on this account coz this is my 2nd account and this account also band from 2012 ( duplicate account ) I think for 4 to 5 years so I just don't make any new account so that kind of gap is stopping me to posting here.
yeah, the point is maybe you also notice something before and now DP activity. I never have seen any forum active like DP but compare to today its much silent... but anyways .. its good to come back to home
