Hey guys, I am planning to start an online general store theidealshopper.com (under construction) which will be selling various items and I would like a logo. The logo text can be theidealshopper.com (I don't have any tagline in mind). Something related to online shopping or shopper should be just fine. I have no preference for any colors The logo needs to be on a transparent background. I would like to run the contest for 48 hours in which I will pick up the design which I like. So I request all participants to watermark their designs. In the worst event that I don't like any design, I will end the contest without any winner. Things have changed recently here at DP. Hardly any designers will respond to a $10 contest anymore. The smallest contest we see these days is $15. And with that only 2nd rate designers will submit an entry. If you want something that will require a bit of time or effort, you'll have to go up to at least $20.

Few months ago, designers here tolerated this kind of amount but this is too much now and it is equivalent to an insult. In order to have a great selection of designs, offer a JUST amount. If I am a CH I must be ashamed to offer even a minimum of $20 as we have lot of professional designers competing in this field. May I request to amend the offer as we have a saying, "The More, The Merrier".
Thanks everyone for their comments. I can understand that the price is low but everybody has a set of budget for other stuff and not everyone can afford paying a lot. Anyway, I guess I'd better end the contest now. No more participants please.
