It's people like you that are turning the forum to crap, couldn't tell the truth if your life depended on it.
I always found digital point that have very little moderation, and they encouraged people to argue with each other. For that reason I found that it was important that I kept what I said to a minimum, otherwise it would just be a big Fiasco that I didn't want to deal with.I guess there can be reasons to use this site such as for doing business with other people or finding new leads or new ideas. For that I definitely have benefited. in recent years is that things have moved more to social media I think that sites like this are not as important as they once were, but I think that could change in the future and it's good they keep this site going.
I have been a member for many years now, but I took some time away from forums (in general) and now I am back. The DigitalPoint site design appears to be majority the same as it always did, however, there seem to be a few new forum features added in. The Marketplace was always useful for both buyers and sellers; however, the onus on whether a buyer makes payment for a sale is their responsibility. However, the issue of non-payment is not specific to DigitalPoint Forums; considering this happens on all auction sites (eBay included). I am glad to see through reading your follow-up comments on this thread that you have chosen to stick around. Not all members are bad. Have an amazing day! MIKE
I completely agree. But it's 2019 and forums have taken a backseat to social media. We should be so lucky that this place is still up.
Well, I agree with you. Recently, I have been stalked by a bi**ch and another member here. They comment at almost every post of mine and start liking each other posts. I added them into the 'Ignored' list but they still continue to do so. Unfortunately, DP doesn't allow the deletion of accounts, otherwise, I would have deleted my account here. I know, I shouldn't care. But still, I'm not used to this kind of behavior. Yes, but it should have the option to delete your account.
I joined in the early 2000s and have only just returned after being away for close to 9 years. The forum certainly does not seem as busy as it used to be.
Yeah I am getting the issue and always getting notification read rules or be band what should I do with this?
Threads like this offer an interesting insight into the human condition. It was like this when I was a high volume seller on eBay (way back when) and I would often wonder how a buyer could be so stupid and still be able to survive in the modern world. I actually began to lose faith in humankind after being exposed, time and again, to levels of stupidity and incompetence that almost seemed impossible. And don't get me started on the cheaters and thieves... Not having sold on eBay for many years, my weakened memory has allowed me to think more positively of humankind; these threads are almost nostalgic for me in a weird way.
You are seeing a general banner ad that everyone sees at the top of the forum home page. That ad is not targeted to you, but is a general reminder to all members to play nice. You would get a written warning on your account tabs (where you see all of your stats, etc.) if you were actually getting a warning from the Moderators.
