Hi, First I hope this is the good forum for my question. Now, I have 2 hosting company that I need your help to choose from, I looking for Reseller Hosting (to host seperate websites - each one with own account) and Good Performence for my websites, my sites still not have much traffic, but I looking for hosting to Israel (my country) and abroad. Hosting 1 - -Hosted using Google Cloud -Run on Nginx+Apache -Panel Plesk Onyx 17.8 -NVME SSD Disks -They say that they on Premium Tier on Google Cloud -Support Redis (DB Cache) -Because it's on google I can't buy dedicated IPs Hosting 2 - -Hosted at my local country (Israel) -Run on Cloudlinux+lightspeed -Panel WHM & Cpanel -NVME SSD Disks -I can buy dedicated IPs to each account Both Companies - -Give FREE Lets Encrypet SSL -Support HTTP/2 -Support Multiple PHP versions -Daily Backup to other server -Suppose to be optimized to Wordpress sites -Reseller to open accounts as much as I want *I on purpose not wrote the Space & Bandwidth / Price because both plans currently good for me. Please need your help to choose.
Both hosting are excellent features, Hosting 1 perfect for heavy performance and traffic. Hosting 2 perfect for shared account.
Are they offering you we hosting addons to sell or may be domain reseller account to resell domains? This would add more to your income.
I'm not looking to open webhosting company, just host my own websites, so I don't need to resell domains.
Google cloud would be the best option because its performance is good, tried and tested. To me option 1 looks like a company selling managed hosting on top of google hosting where option 2 reflects a shared hosting package
OK, There is another Hosting company that can works with my requierments, Hosting 3 - -Hosted at Germany servers -Run on Nginx+Apache -Panel WHM & Cpanel -NVME SSD Disks -Support Redis (DB Cache) -I can buy dedicated IPs to each account -Based on cloud - although it's on german server according to WebPageTest I get good First Byte time. ---------------- I does some benchmarks with the 3 companies, here is the results, (the benchmarks were made on the homepage of each hosting company, with the hosting company number 3 I used website that on the german server) Company 1 - -Webpage test (Israel Server with Chrome) - --DNS Lookup: 33 ms --Initial Connection: 91 ms --SSL Negotiation: 118 ms --Time to First Byte: 158 ms ---Total - 400ms -Local test with Google Chrome - --TTFB - 304.03ms *I check it on Network section under the waterfall. -Sucuri Load Time Tester (USA & Europe Servers) - Performance Grade A Company 2 - -Webpage test (Israel Server with Chrome) - --DNS Lookup: 40 ms --Initial Connection: 31 ms --SSL Negotiation: 53 ms --Time to First Byte: 74 ms --Content Download: 33 ms ---Total - 231ms -Local test with Google Chrome - --TTFB - 125.66 ms -Sucuri Load Time Tester (USA & Europe Servers) - Performance Grade F Company 3 (site not have SSL) - -Webpage test (Israel Server with Chrome) - --DNS Lookup: 29 ms --Initial Connection: 89 ms --Time to First Byte: 98 ms --Content Download: 11 ms ---Total - 227ms -Local test with Google Chrome - --TTFB - 394.77 ms -Sucuri Load Time Tester (USA & Europe Servers) - Performance Grade A
Hi, The selection of hosting company depends upon your targetted audiance. If you will have cleints in your local area only then select local company. That will give you less latency.
Yes, if your target audience is local, you need to focus on TTFB(Time to first byte), using chrome. LetsEncrypt offers free SSL, and there are others ways to get it. But renewing every 3 months is a recurring job, that you should not forget.
Yes, but local company will not give me a good latency to aborad (USA etc) traffic. TTFB is something important for me, and due to that, I've pasted the tests that I does. The free SSL is something the most of the hosting companies gives for free, and renew & take care for that.
I would go for second hosting. The free addons which you mentioned comes with cPanel. As second hosting is giving you an option to buy dedicated IP, it is a good thing. If you need a paid SSL for your website in future, the dedicated IP can be useful. as SSL needs a dedicated IP alongwith Shared Hosting.
you want to be able to talk to a real person any time in real time live chat or phone so if you have an issue or or just a questions
Hosting 1 - 14 USD/5GB Space/200GB BW Hosting 2 - 15 USD/12GB Space/2TB BW Hosting 3 - 9 USD/10GB Space/2TB BW/Dedicated IP What you mean ?
In that case, check where your most client base is present. Which location is good for latency - Israel or Germany. Decide based on these factors. Contact the live chat and ask for Ping IP's of all 3 options.
