    I have a question that if I do put my website url in gmail signature, does this improve my backlink or my SEO.

    That is quite funny! That would mean that all your emails are being scanned and indexed by Google. lol

    As stated above, no!

    You seem to being try to take a lot of shortcuts. Building quality links are not easy and doing sloppy work to get them will cause your site to be flagged as spam.

    Go ahead and put it in there. You'll be giving the recipients of your emails a link that they might choose to click, thus adding to your traffic. That's a good thing.

    Obviously, it won't improve SEO but if anyone clicks on the gmail signature links, then he/she comes to your site and your site traffic will increase.
