Dear Support, I have been off the online scene for quite a few years and now I plan to get back to business. However I have lost access to the email address associated with the account (@Mobile-Monster). Fortunately I have paypal transaction details for the payment of subscription to forum dated 2009 and I hope that would be enough to prove that I am the actual account holder. I also tried to contact @digitalpoint on twitter.
As far as I know, @digitalpoint has no connection to the Mobile-Monster forum, so WHY try to contact him since the is NOTHING that he can do?
Hello my friend @mmerlin . @Mobile-Monster is my username on this forum which I want to regain access.
So, now you are ADMITTING to BREAKING the TOS of DP by having TWO accounts, this one and that one. If you had read the TOS, you would see that you are allowed ONLY ONE ACCOUNT EVER. Now @digitalpoint has NO CHOICE but to BAN YOUR ASS FOREVER.
@mmerlin thank you for all the kind words. Yes if they feel I should be banned then I have to agree to that. I had no other option to contact them. Please see that I did try to contact Shawn on his twitter account prior to creating this account.
The staff here are not juveniles but are sophisticated. They may cut you a break because you have been honest and upfront. Perhaps they will merely ban this account and give you your old password and account back. Good luck to you with all.
We'd end up banning this new account after reinstating the old. However, I have some issues that you may like to address Could you please post a link to your tweet - I can't find it. @priteshdatas - would I be right in assuming your name is Pritesh Datas? Why then did you use a completely different name on the twitter account associated with @Mobile-Monster? and how does one lose access to a gmail account? normally it's because you no longer own a domain, or work for a company. But gmail? how does that work?
Thank you for your response @sarahk . My name is Pritesh Das and the twitter account associated with the original forum account here @Mobile-Monster and was probably put for testing purpose. My twitter account is @IamPriteshDas and you are not able to see the tweet because I have sent a DM(Direct Message) to @digitalpoint on twitter. He can verify that. I have quite a few gmail accounts and one of them was associated with my forum account here and If I recall correctly it should be team***pro@gmail.com . Unfortunately I have lost its password and other recovery option does not work either. HI found a PP transaction for making a payment towards forum subscription and the details are as follows. Transaction date: Nov 19, 2009 Transaction time: 02:39:28 PST Funding source: Credit Card Subscription number: S-4AF55693A85065242 If you require further information, please let me know.
One has leprosy, another has acquired the black death and another fell into quicksand. But apart from all of that, my understanding is that they are doing o.k.
Shawn is the only one who can help, other "staffs" are around keeping the place in order. You might do better to dig out that old gmail account!
Thanks Sarah for the response. back in those days Shawn used to be very active and always responded pretty quick. A lot of things have changed all these years. He must be busy with other more important projects I guess. As for the old gmail account..I think i have tried a lot .with all the available options ..still luck. I wouldn't have waited for 2 weeks here if it was possible for me to access that account . Also when do you think Shawn could manage sparing 2-3 minutes of his ? It should not take more than that.
I don't know, I'm not his keeper. If this account is so important why did you use an email address you later discarded? And I'm still a bit spooked by the whole twitter thing. I can see that account probably was yours but then you have another guy's twitter.
Doesn't look like that's going to work unless you know how to search for transactions older than 3 years? I tried searching in PayPal, and apparently they limit your search to the last 3 years for whatever dumb reason.
