Contest Casino logo $50 - ending 20 Feb

RIVIERA CASINO is looking for a new logo.

The logo has to be done in style of old school casinos. Think Las Vegas and the visual style of casinos there.

The logo has to be instantly recognizable and memorable, not generic.

It would be good to include a riviera or a riviera resort as the main part of the logo, as that's what this brand is all about. The customer that visits this online casino needs to feel as if he's visiting a riviera casino resort for VIP customers. Something a person of average salary who wants to be rich would gladly visit.

I wouldn't mind if the logo had silver or gold parts. I'm a fan of logos that look like silver or gold badges. You can just add some shine to the logo, or you can make it a badge, up to you.

"RIVIERA CASINO" text should be present on the logo and should be done in a cool display font.

The logo needs to look good on both a white background and the #172953 background.

The deadline for submissions is 20 Feb 23:59 CET and after that I will go through the designs and either declare a winner or ask for changes to designs that are close to winning. The winner will be paid by Paypal within 24 hours of being declared winner. I reserve the right to not choose any design.

Athisa, I like the style of the first design (colors, alignment, fonts) and I think it can be developed further. But the image doesn't have anything to do with a casino. See if you can put actual unique artwork that symbolizes a riviera, a casino resort, or an online casino. Not this generic image that's everywhere.

remus94, I think this is going in the wrong direction.

To you and everyone else: I would much rather see a casino resort as the main image of the logo. Perhaps some palm trees. The $50 prize is good enough, I hope someone will submit stunning artwork for the main image in the logo.

 

Other variations with palm trees as requested in it the logo. I created a black and white background in case

 

If anyone wants to submit a golden design (similar to Athisa's first submission but with better artwork), feel free to do so.

I like this and I'm close to choosing this one. But there are changes I need done.

First, remove the sun rays, the dice and the chips. Second, put CASINO under RIVIERA and not above (same distance).

Now when you have that, please do four versions.
#1 Same as the one you made but change the background to #070707.
#2 Inverted version of that, transparent or #fff background with the logo #051d39 full color, no gradient.
#3 Same as #1, but the entire logo needs to have a gradient from right to left, from the color you used (#e1d0bf) to #c79d6d, similar to what Athisa has done in her/his first design.
#4 Please give me your best attempt at a true lifelike golden badge that's elevated from the background and that looks at least like the one here: http://www.gimpology.com/uploads/3_245_10.png (the background of your work should be #070707)

I forgot to mention I will need the vector versions after I pay, .ai is fine but I also need some generic one I can edit (.eps or .svg) as I don't have Adobe Illustrator.

The key was that you chose a fantastic color for the logo. So classy.
