Hello, one of my clients is an independent accountant and looking for a website. I have a couple of options, but not sure which one is the best? taxory.com - that one is short AccountantStar.com - Longer, but probably easy to remember What do you think is better? Can you suggest something else? Thanks, Alex
What type of accounting is his/her key interest? You may find that there's a keyword that is most relevant to his/her clientele. My accountant does lots with property investors and small businesses trying to minimise the tax they pay - his car has a personalised plate of "0 TAX". In his case he might want the zerotax.com domain. Or the accountant might specialise in small entrepreneurs, or medium-sized businesses, or in process management. As for the two you've suggested, meh, I'd start over.
if it has not been registered already, I'd love to go with something like bookkeepers dot com or dot any other extension or maybe thebookkeeper dot com
As your client is an accountant, you can choose AccountantStar(Dot)com domain name, and it's nicer than taxory(Dot)com. But you can also pick up domain name according to your client's first & second name if available. If not available, then you can choose domain name in other ways, e.g. iamaccontant(Dot)com, youraccountant(Dot)com, etc.
I would go with AccountantStar but there could be some more suitable options if he didn't get the registration like core competency specific etc.
I think the name taxory is better. it's shorter, easy to remember, brandable, and also has the word "tax" in the name.
