There's many different ways, which can be a problem sometimes. I found it best to just concentrate on two or three methods and work those. The one that's my preference is creating good content and sharing on Pinterest. Lot's of youtube videos are available if you search for them on how to setup and use Pinterest to get traffic.

I use to use solo ads but they costed alot to start off with. Try using a marketing influencer. Use an outreach technique and do some kind of exchange for you to benefit from their traffic.

As long as you're posting useful content I see no danger of being blocked unless you're placing your links inside that content. You don't need to post your links anyway. If your content is useful enough the group members will begin contacting you for further information.

If you are placing your links inside that content any group that's anti-spam will block you no matter how often you post.

I will echo what some others have stated in this post. Traffic does not mean a thing unless it is highly targeted. A small list of customers that are highly interested in your niche is preferable to a huge list of people who are not passionate. So whether you are using paid or free strategies, you need to always keep that in mind.

There is a couple different ways you can market your website. It just depends on how much work you want to put into it.
Here is a decent post on a couple ways to actually market properly:

It has a few different ideas. You can also find a bunch others if u google a bit. Good Luck!

Constant seo optimization, advertising, content, a book of complaints (on optimization, for example, button placement), mass mailing, social networks.

Depending on your niche, Facebook groups are a decent source of traffic. I would suggest making a Facebook page for your blog/site and share to groups from that. This way you can get an idea of how much your post is getting seen or not seen.

Hello! I got better traffic from my site using social networks. Basically my strategy was to create a digital reward for the visitor and for him to get it should share a link in the social networks, basically this made my traffic improve by 100%.

yes, Content is the pillar for driving traffic to your website. People nowadays like to know more about the product before buying any product, So always concentrate on the content before posting.
