    Hey Everyone,
I am newer here and also a beginner in the SEO. I don't know the actual difference between the microblog and Blog. What kind of websites are used for microblogging?
What are the advantages of microblogging over blogging? If someone tells me about this, I shall be thankful to them.

When you microblog, you are blogging while you drink a micro beer.

I find using the Google Search Engine to be a useful tool for learning, although it has been attacked for allowing too many ads, it is still a free tool and the best search engine tool as far as I'm aware.

A quick search on Google gives these links right on the first page

Microblogging is a shorter form of blogging, for example 100+ words for each post. Microblogging is suitable if you intend to regularly update your audience about the progress of your work, etc.

The main difference both of them is that microblog is shorter in length i.e it allows fewer words to communicate as compared to the blog. Microblog is about 140 to 150 words while blogs have no words limits.
There are some useful microblogging sites like Tumblr, scoop it, FriendFeed, DailyBooth etc.
And the advantage is that you can update your thought frequently over microblogging sites and at the same, it is more active than blogging sites.
I hope this answer is useful enough.
    Thank you!

Below are the differences between blogging and microblogging:
    • A blog allows you to write limitless words on a particular topic while a microblog allows you to post a content of just 140 to 150 words.
    • A blogging site is updated when the blogger wants it to while a microblogging site keeps on updating minute by minute.
    • Blogging sites are less active as compared to microblogging sites. A new blog will be published after some hours or days later as per the blogger's convenience, but a microblogging site is very active and new posts appear on it within seconds.
    • A blogging site isn't for keeping the blogger and his friends updated about the day to day activities of the blogger and vice versa but the purpose of micro-blogging sites is exactly that.

Microblogging is the way to express your thoughts without writing lengthy articles. Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr - these are good examples of microblogging platforms.

Its depend upon what kind of sites you have selected if you used popular sites like Twitter, Tumblr etc. Its will live your links for a long time.

In Blogging, you can write any topic you like. But in micro blogging, you can write only one specific topic that is the only difference

As already stated the difference between the two is largely dependent on length. This blog post I read talks about it a little more if you'd like to check it out https://buttercms.com/blog/what-is-microblogging

The major difference between blogging and micro blogging is, blogging frees you to write your favorite topic in your desired length whereas you are only allowed to write not more than 140 characters to share your view

    Microblogging
A microblog varies from a standard blog in that the information is often lower in size, both in terms of real and aggregated file size. Microblogs may be popular because they "enable users to exchange little components of material such as short phrases, individual photos, or video links."

    Blogging
The process of producing a blog, an online publication in which you share your opinions on a certain subject with readers, is known as blogging.
