Good post, these lists are fundamentally useless. What works is being able to write well and to be able to interact with your clients in such a way that they will refer you to others.
Which makes items on a list actually useful when they teach you how to write well and interact with others as the subjects pertain to copywriting.
I would say that transcription is also helping copywriters to create content. For example, they can use audio to text converter in order to save time and make the work more efficient.
