Would you use it? If not what's wrong with it?

Have you lost one of your css files?
I haven't seen a site like that in a very long time.

It's supposed to be as minimalistic and mobile friendly as possible. So basically, you're saying the design is complete crap. I had a hunch about that.
Is there any other serious issue except the design?

    Thank you for your input.

Personally I'd find it more useful if it was the news equivalent of this:

    upload_2018-12-7_8-14-56.png

Where you list the sources on the left and I uncheck them (and save if I'm logged in) and the list on the right refreshes with the news items I've selected so that I see them all mixed in together. I don't want to have to click in and go back to change feeds. If 3 feeds cover the same topic (eg Bush's funeral) I want to see the headlines and choose one of the 3

FWIW the design at Ravelry.com hasn't been updated in yonks and it's pretty minimalist but the site works because of the content (and no times roman)

I see your point. Definitely a better way to navigate the site.

It's refreshing to see a member who actually wants an honest review. You'd be surprised how many whine and cry like babies if you offer anything less than a positive review.
